Turkish furniture was the height of Victorian comfort: deep coil springs, generous horsehair stuffing and rows of buttoned tufting. This couch was rebuilt the traditional way and finished in black leather, with every diamond of tufting set by hand.

The couch won an Award of Excellence in the upholstery category of the 2013 IFAI International Achievement Awards, presented at the Specialty Fabrics Expo in Orlando, Florida. The competition drew 236 entries from 13 countries.
