Buckminster Upholstery is a one-person shop. This page explains what the website collects and what happens to it. Last updated October 2026.
What the quote form collects
When you request a quote, the form sends Kim your name, email address, phone number if you give one, city and state, a description of your piece, how it would get to the shop, and any photos you attach. That information is used only to reply to you about your project.
How it is handled
Requests are delivered to Kim's email through an email delivery service (Resend). Before delivery, each request is checked automatically for spam and scams, including a review by an AI model running on Cloudflare. Your information is not sold, rented or shared for marketing, and photos of your piece are never posted without your permission.
Website statistics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. A weekly summary of these totals is emailed to the shop.
YouTube videos and donations
Videos load from YouTube only when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Donations are handled entirely by PayPal; this site never sees your payment details. Links to YouTube, Facebook and PayPal are covered by those companies' own privacy policies.
