5/4" birch frame with walnut legs enhanced with aniline dye	Box tie with #9 spring wire attached with wrapped string. (no metal clips originally )	First suffing of hair in place over springs.
Above: first stuffing being stitched in		Above: back springs stitched down
Note springs are tied in free-moving rows.	Burlap sewn to sprining with guttering.	First stuffing of hair over back springs.
