Beginning at tear-down, taking it through frame restoration/regluing, refinishing, etc. Very detailed instructions on springing, with the highlights on edgerolls, both the stitched-in spring edge, and the rolled arms. Padding materials are excelsior, moss and cotton.
The video continues from building, and facing the cushion deck, to padding the arms, readying for pulling down upholstery fabric. Part Two continues with padding the back and wings, pulling equal pleats, attaching cording, blind stitching panels with flax string using various needles. The video finishes out with a basic primer demonstrating inner-spring cushion construction utilizing a Shop-vac to shrink the Marshall unit core for easy stuffing. This complete three DVD set is $80.00.
